A Muslim man was kicked off an American Airlines flight in December 2015 after a flight attendant publicly warned, "I'll be watching you" and repeatedly announced his seat name. After boarding the plane, Mohamed Ahmed Radwan a message from an attendant targeted the man, saying, "Mohamed Ahmed, that is a very long name, seat 25-A: I will be watching you,” and “25-A: you will be watched." Radwan later asked the flight attendant why she did not make the same announcement about other passengers, and was accused of being "too sensitive." He was then escorted off the flight because he reportedly made the flight attendant feel "uncomfortable." While the incident occurred in December 2015, CAIR filed a complaint on behalf of Radwan with the Department of Transportation to investigate.
